Announcement on Issuing Four Air Pollutant Emission Standards (including standard amendment) such as Air Pollutant Emission Standards for Oil Storage Tanks.
In order to implement the Environmental Protection Law of People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of People’s Republic of China (PRC), improve the quality of ecological environment and prevent environmental pollution, the Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Oil Storage Tanks is now approved as the national pollutant emission standard, and the revised list of Emission Limits and Measurement Methods of Diesel Engine Exhaust Pollutants for Off-road Mobile Machinery (Phase III and IV of China) (GB 20891-2014) is approved, which will be approved by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the State Administration of Market Supervision.
The name and number of the standard (including the standard amendment) are as follows:
1. Emission Standard for Air Pollutants in Oil Storage Tanks (GB 20950- 2020)
II. Emission Standard for Air Pollutants in Oil Transportation (GB 20951- 2020)
III. Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Gas Stations (GB 20952- 2020)
IV. Revision of Emission Limits and Measurement Methods of Diesel Engine Exhaust Pollutants for Off-road Mobile Machinery (Phase III and IV of China) (GB 20891-2014)
According to the law, the above standards (including standard amendment) have the force of enforcement. The Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Oil Storage Tanks, the Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Oil Transportation and the Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Gas Stations have been implemented since April 1, 2021, and the revised list of Emission Limits and Measurement Methods of Diesel Engine Exhaust Pollutants for Off-road Mobile Machinery (Phase III and IV in China) (GB 20891-2014) has been implemented since its release.
The above standards are published by China Environment Publishing Group Co., Ltd., and the contents of the standards can be found on the website of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (http://www.mee.gov.cn).
